The trial’s central question is whether Holmes deceived investors by making baseless claims about her miraculous Edison machine…which never materialized as promised. Other firms, on the other hand, are pioneering the way in the diagnostics sector by being able to accomplish more with fewer amounts of blood.
Qualcomm is demonstrating new technologies at Mobile World Congress that will increase 5G connection and wireless audio. Starting in the second half of this year, these new capabilities — and the semiconductors that enable them — are expected to appear in the next generation of earbuds and high-end Android phones.

With the support of an AI processor, the Snapdragon X70 5G modem-RF system tries to optimize your phone’s 5G connection. This allows it to optimize the 5G signal for improved coverage, which is especially critical for mmWave transmissions, which have a shorter range than low and mid-band frequencies. Qualcomm claims that this enhancement is confined to stadiums and city blocks and that it does not address one of mmWave’s major flaws: the signal’s inability to move from outside to inside. Where there isn’t a mmWave signal, though, the new AI processor should improve sub-6GHz coverage and speeds.

Wireless earbud support for 16-bit “CD-quality” lossless music over Bluetooth is one of the new audio capabilities, which is bundled up in a framework dubbed Snapdragon Sound. There’s also a game mode with a latency of 68 milliseconds, which is 25% faster than Qualcomm’s existing technology. Another new feature is the ability to record in stereo using headphones. The most recent adaptive active noise cancellation technology from the firm is also integrated.
